Spencer Igo was first elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2000. A lifelong resident of Grand Rapids and the Northland, Igo currently serves as co-chair of the Housing Finance and Policy Committee. He also is a member of the Ways & Means Committee and the Energy Finance & Policy Committee. Prior to joining the legislature, Igo served on the staff of Minnesota Congressman Jason Lewis’ campaign and as Minnesota Congressman Pete Stauber’s field representative in his district office. Igo has a degree in public administration from the University of North Dakota. He is a 2023 graduate of the Bowhay Institute.
