Paul Torkelson was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2008, ascending to assistant majority leader and then assistant minority leader. Prior to his election to the Minnesota House, Torkelson was an appointed member of the Minnesota Governor’s Clean Water Council and a vice president of the Minnesota Farm Bureau. Torkelson is the co-chair of the Ways and Means Committee.
