Patrick Testin was first elected to the Wisconsin Senate in 2016. A Republican from the town of Hull in central Wisconsin, he was elected President Pro Tempore in 2021. Testin is currently chair of the Agriculture and Tourism Committee. He is co-chair of the Joint Survey Committee on Tax Exemptions and vice chair of the Committee on Health and Human Services, and vice chair of the Finance Committee. He also is a member of the Joint Committee on Finance and the Joint Committee on Information Policy and Technology. A lifelong Wisconsinite, Testin grew up near the Michigan border in Marinette, where he learned the value of hard work at a young age. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2011, he remained in Portage County and took a job as a sales professional, currently working for a local wine distributor. Testin is a 2018 graduate of the Bowhay Institute.
