Beyond the Headlines: Brining Together Data and People to Improve Public Safety Outcomes

 


Madeleine Dardeau supports states considering new policies and practices to achieve public safety goals. In previous roles at the CSG Justice Center, she provided policy research, analysis and technical assistance to states participating in the Justice Reinvestment Initiative. Prior to joining the CSG Justice Center, Dardeau supported Oregon’s Justice Reinvestment grant program, which focused on strengthening community-based supervision and services to increase local alternatives to incarceration. She also previously worked as staff in the Oregon and Alabama legislatures. Dardeau earned a bachelor’s degree from Portland State University and a Master of Public Administration and Policy from American University.
