Lisa Demuth was first elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2018. A Republican from Cold Spring, she currently is the House Minority Leader. In addition, she is the Republican lead on the Rules and Legislative Administration Committee. She previously served as assistant minority leader and as vice-chair of the Select Committee on Racial Justice and a member of the Legislative Task Force on Child Protection and the P-20 Education Partnership. Demuth is a small-business owner and served 11 years as a ROCORI School Board member, winning her first election as a write-in candidate. Demuth is a 2021 graduate of the Bowhay Institute.
